That would be because they did. Panoz doesn’t make the ancillary but regulated parts like light lenses, they re-use them, and those are euro-spec Mazda MX6 amber-signal lights.

I’m surprised that Panoz himself doesn’t drive this one. He just has a black Esperante.

Or maybe that’s his dad’s; all I know is I see one in the only car-sized reserved spot in the paddock at Road Atlanta.

Either way, if I owned the company I’d sure as hell make this one my daily.

The North American MX-6 of that generation also had amber turn signals. N.A. ones have a reverse light on each side, some foreign ones have a red rear fog light on the driver’s side. These are RHD units, probably U.K.
